Ripoff Collection Lawsuit Internet Company $250 limit turned into $1,055 then sold to collection agency. 8 years later I'm being sued

Please, do not ever do any business with Aspire Visa. I barely remember having that card 8 years ago. It had a $250 credit limit, and I am now being sued by a collection agency for $1,055 on behalf of Aspire.
They didn't even bother contacting me! I'd forgotten about this company completely until a deputy served me yesterday with a 30-day judgement notice. (In Oklahoma once a suit is filed you have 35 days to file written response or you automatically forfeit) This stuff is utter insanity.
