Rips off eldery couple for $300 on what was to be free estimate

Joe Daughtery, owner of Daughtery Roofing, was called out to give a free estimate on a roofing job after a storm. The eldery couple gave the requested $300 the day of the estimate. The job was not done by the Daughtery Roofing Company, but completed by another Company in which the insurance company recommended.

Joe Daughtery refused to pay back the couple the $300. When contacted by the couple's children, Daughtery told them that he had to make money somehow. Taking advantage of eldery couples was how he made money.
