Ripoff of rent security deposit small claims for other theft New Jersey

Joe Bertelson aka John Robison is a thief and serial liar who signed a lease and did not pay rent. He is about 40 years old (in 2007), 5'9", 160 lbs, blue eyes, military haircut (very short on top, shaved close on sides), with at least one earring/stud. Has a late model silver Pontiac Bonneville NJ VHV-87S. Has over 15 judgements against him in civil court where he has taken money from people to do carpet work but did nothing.in some cases his wife or former wife, Samantha Bertelson has been involved. ]

Has been evicted a number of times for nonpayment of rent (just as in my case). Provided a false identification and SSN to PSE&G and NJ American Water in order to avoid paying. Also owes money to Cablevision and JCP&L. Has a young girl (5-7 years old approx in 2007) who he says is his daughter, named Tabitha. Has a large, aggressive German Shepard which he places in the condo to prevent a landlord from entering without him there.

Evictions history suggests that he moves from one place to another not paying rent or minimal to get into a place until he is subsequently evicted for nonpayment&then he moves to another place. Probably uses these places as base from which to scam people—carpeting/flooring jobs.
