Fraudulent billing and Misrepresentation Ripoff

I filed a complant with the Illinois Better Business Bureau against:

I filed this complaint thinking (94119184) consolidated readers inst. Would leave me alone until the bbb helped resolve this problem. But no! I have received 3 telephone calls demanding money (one to my home on a saturday) one letter and two cards.
I would just like to state:
1. Their representative came into my store to sell magazines. I did not request him to come in.
2. He was aggressive, (i am a senior citizen) and could not get him to leave.
3. I signed something after he went on and on and i couldn't get him to leave. He stated "i have to make one more sale." "try these for six months and if you don't want them or like the magazines, you can cancel it." and "the payments are on the honor system."
4. I don't have a copy of the agreement-the rep filled it out and kept it.
5. I kept telling him i didn't feel well and didn't want any magazines. (among other things i have macular degeneration and certainly don't need magazines.)
6. Since last year they never sent any magazines. Except the goofy free ones like "inc" "photography" "muscle men" and "boating". None of which i am interested in.
7. Now they tell me i owe more money. I have sent many (7 payments of $29.00)—or so, i don't remeber how many— payments and am not going to send any more money no matter what. They say i had to cancel before 3 days. Their rep never told me that. They keep asking me to send 'coupons' and i don't even know what they are talking about.
8. Their telephone people have be rude and harassing they have called me over and over again. They have threatened me and cursed me. They never sent any magazines!!!
I am not doing business with them anymore. I did not received any magazines for months and now, only after my contacting the bbb are they sending magazines, which i refuse to accept.
9. They are harassing me so badly, and unnerved me so, i am going to close my store and quit working.
10. They misrepresented them selves and then never sent magazines i sent for. I can't stand the harrassment anymore!
