PHIL "PIG" MARIGMEN SCAM ARTIST Ripoff, cheat, thief, liar, cheats single moms on limited income, lies, doesn't pay taxes, wife works full time as a nurse, has two kids in private school in SF

Phil marigmen scammed me (single mom on a limited income supporting a child and my elderly mother) in 2004. He came into our home, quoted us reasonable rates, starting tearing our home apart, and then the double-talk started.

He needed deposits for this project, that project, here, there — we trusted him for one thing because he brought his two little girls to our home, brought my mom samples of food from his local deli, and was such an easygoing, friendly, open guy. And then he disappeared. Our home was torn apart to the subfloor; he had torn out both toilets; the kitchen had been gutted. And all of my money — as well as my diamond solitaire ring — was gone!

I turned this thief over to the dublin police, who had me i.D. Marigmen, who already had warrants for contractor fraud (he is not a contractor, but represents himself to be). I later gained a small claims judgment in october against him for $5,000 (the max i could get, though he ripped me off for over double that amount, not including my diamond ring).

I later found that there are several judgments "out there" against this thief, who is apparently still ripping off trusting people. His wife works as a nurse/administrator in some care facility, he has two middle-school aged girls in private (!!!) school, and he owns a home in the bayview area of sf.

If you want to get this moron served small claims or other papers (he will not answer his home door, ever), simply have your friend contact him through craigslist, ask him to come over to give you a bid, and then have your friend serve him (that's what i did and of course the leper showed up to bid). He won't show up to court, so you'll get your judgment by default. And then you can judgment collectors assist you in tracking down this criminal.

Be sure to contact the police about his fraud. The dublin police also have a report about marigmen, and he likely still has warrants out there. Good luck; and pass the word, post on craigslist, don't let him get away with any more ripoffs!
