Blue Green Resorts
Promised Ocean Front Hotel but Booked at Condo Far From Beach

Miscellaneous

A telemarketer contacted me offering me a $99.00 weekend vacation in Myrtle Beach with the condition of attending a 90 minute time-share presentation. The lady proceeded to tell me about the properties owned by the company: condominiums couple miles away from the beach or ocean front hotels. As I explained the lady that I am a mom of two toddlers, she told me I was going to get a room in a hotel, ocean view, steps from the beach.

During the 2 week period between the reservation and the vacation weekend, I received an envelope with instructions as to where I was going to get my keys. After driving to Myrtle, and finally getting to the location for the keys, never knowing the name of the hotel where I was staying, I was surprised by knowing that there was not such ocean front hotel nor, ocean view room; instead I was booked at a condo, 10 or 15 minutes away from the ocean and not even a swimming pool for my 2 toddlers!

It has been 4 days since the inconvenient, and nobody seems to be able to give me an apology for the misunderstanding, and even worse, I have been charged another $100 for not attending a presentation, they told me to re-schedule!!
