Is a fraudulent billing ripoff scam., Nationwide

I found a charge on my Visa bill from MWI Connections in the amount of $109.95. I called the number (1-800-568-2386) to speak with someone. I asked what the company was and the representative told me something about a membership in discounts in entertainment such as movies, dinner, etc. I asked how I could've been billed for something I didn't sign up for.

He told me it would have been over the phone. I said I would have never agreed to buy something that expensive over the phone with no written information. He said it was something with "Graduate Connections". I told him I had never heard of that company.

I also informed him that we were not even at home when the call was supposedly placed. He wanted to send me some information, but I replied, "no, I just want my credit card to be credited". He apologized and said it would be done. He did give me his name and his ID number, but I am still going to follow up with my credit card company about this charge.
