Proves nothing is free ripoff

My husband the gullible one signed up for this *free credit report*, back in october. Every since then i have noticed a 12.00 a month charge on my bank account which nothing thinking anything had figured he had signed up for something again. He does that, so i started calling the number on my account and it never worked. So then i started calling the bank and the information they had was also invalid. My husband hasn't received any emails from this company. We had no information on this place. I had found an address for them. I called information and gave them the company name and address and they said that they had no information for a company called CIC. So i mailed them a letter stating i was his account canceled and he money refunded and about a week later the letter came back saying not at this address.
