Ekan Adghe is an immigrant from Nigeria. I shared an apartment with him in Bloomsburg, PA in 2004. Ekan is a pathological liar, thief, and a scam artist. During the four months I lived with him, he stole items from the kitchen and from my bedroom, never paid his rent or utility bills on time (these were all in my name), and he often got annoyed whenever I mentioned these expenses to him.By the third month, he had stopped paying for rent and bills completely.

He had a cousin named "Jason", whom he claimed would only be staying at the apartment for "just a few weeks", but whom in fact lived there for the entire four months without paying bills or rent. One night, the two of them got into a fist fight which resulted in a large hole being punched in the wall in the bedroom. The damage was deducted from my security deposit.By the time they moved out, Ekan owed me more than seven hundred dollars in rent, bills and apartment damage. Considering that the cousin lived there for free, the amount comes to about twelve hundred dollars. I filed a complaint in district court; Ekan never showed up and was found guilty by default, but I never received a cent. He is a sociopath with the maturity level of a child. Do NOT rent to him or trust him under any circumstances!
