Unlawful layoff after rejecting sexual advances

I worked as a carpenter for this company for four years. I was constantly receiving sexual advances from the site superintendent. I had started keeping a written log of everything that happened, who was around, the time, and what was said.
After a friend passed away in my home, I took some time off. I was laid off by the site superintendent. I went to my local union and they hired an attorney. After being laid off for six months and agreeing not to sue the company, I was told to go back to work and I would no longer have to work with this individual.
After working for six months I was laid off again January 6. I was told I would be called back to work when the work picked up. I was later told that I shouldn't have brought the sexual harrassment charges against the site superintendent.
As of this writing Dec. 27, I still have found no work in the construction industry. This was the only company I had worked for and I believe they have soiled my name. I've called inquiring about work and have constantly been told they are slow, yet they have several large projects ongoing.
I believe when I send out my resume and other companies call this company for references I'm getting a bad reference. I'm about to lose my home, my transportation, and my complete livelyhood because of this company.
This company said they would accept no responsibilty for the site superintendents actions even though I had the gifts he was trying to send to my son. I was called sweetheart everyday, he was trying to hold my hand whenever he got close, and at one point a fellow carpenter walked in when the superintendent was grabbing my posterior.
I think this company should compensate me for a year's lost wages due to the fact that I am soon to be without a home to live in or transportation to continue looking for work.
This superintendent has been in trouble for this before and it is documented. However the owners of the company chose to hold this guys hand.
I had no discipline action in my records that would warrant a permanent layoff. The company currently has several large projects going. Several other carpenters that were laid off at the same time have been called back months ago. I feel this company has wrongly discriminated against me.
