Worldwide Department Store
Fail to send merchandise. Fail to respond to email. Fail to return phone calls. Fail to reverse charges. These guys are crooks! Ripoff

I made the mistake of ordering my Christmas gifts online with worldwide department store. I Ordered $200.00 in merchandise on November 23 from www.worldwidedepartmentstore.com.

I Received confirmation of order and an order ID from worldwide department store and on December 1, I received an email confirming shipment of merchandise and a USPS tracking number from worldwide department store.

I never received my merchandise. I contacted USPS and on December 14, I was notified by USPS that they never received any merchanidse from the vendor.

I tried to call worldwide department store for days but their line was always busy or a recording cames out stating that their mailbox is full and that I cannot leave message. I sent several emails to them as well, with no reponse.

I called persistently and on December 19th, someone by the name of "Mick" picked up at world wide department store. He stated that they didn't have the merchandise in stock so they never sent the items - although they took the money, sent out a confirmation of shipment and bogus tracking number.

Mick agreed to reverse charges and stated that I could even check with my bank the next day to confirm. I did just that and of course the charges were never reversed.

On December 27, I received a very small portion of my items from them. I believe this was done on their part because a dispute was filed with the credit card company and they need to show the bank they sent something. I doubt I'll see anything else from them and of course its now worthless because they were suppose to be X-mas gifts which I had to purchase on the eve of Christmas from a department store.

They are crooks and that is why they don't respond to emails, vm and block all calls!
