They took my money without my permission! Ripoff

I was unemployeed and looking for a home based job that I could do part time while looking for steady employment. I joined Ameriplan in August under the impression that there was a one time $50 fee. I was sent a promo package with a confirmation number I had to call in order to be a confirmed IBO.
I never confirmed my membership and never got started as an IBO. I tried to find providers in my area and could not locate any. I decided not to continue with the company and was happy I had only given them $50. Well...
In the past 3 days I have recieved notice of 7 insufficiant funds from my bank, costing me $25 overdraft fee per check! I keep my checkbook balanced without using my statement, so didn't see that Ameriscam had been taking $50 per month from my account for the past 3 months hence causing my account to be off balance by $150.00!
Now not only am I out the $200 to this useless, scamming company, I am also out $175 for overdraft fees and have suffered the embarrassment of 7 bounced checks! They will get no more money from me as I have canceled my debit card and my bank is in dispute with them over the $150 which I will probably not get back.
I learned a great lesson here, though costly. Never join any business online without checking them out with the BBB first, or if they require sending them money and giving them a bank account number! I should not have to pay to work. Isn't it suposed to be the other way around?
After reading all the negative reports on Ameriplan I can only say this: Stay away from this company! Do not even go to their site! They are nothing but a rip off! As the old cliche' goes "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".
