On 11/27 two young men came to my house selling magazine subscriptions. They said it was for a communications class in school. They explained that by talking to alot of people it helped build their communication skills.in the process they could also win a trip to the Carribean if they earned the most points from selling the magazine subscriptions.

Feeling a little apprehensive I ordered two magazines anyway for my grandkids. Later that evening I gave my daughter the receipts because I had the magazines sent to her address. She informed me that the zip code was wrong. There was not a phone number on the receipt so I went online to find one and lo and behold all I found was about 50 rip off reports on this company.

First thing the next morning I called one of the phone numbers I found online (877) 222-5589. The young lady answered the phone Freedom Sales Company. I informed her I wanted to cancel my order per the 3 day period on the back of the receipt. She told me she could not cancel my order there. I would have to call corporate office. So I did at (954) 341-8135. The young woman ther was rude and aggravated that I wanted to cancel my order. She wanted to know the persons name that sold me the magazines so she could take their points away. I told her there name and got a fax number (954) 341-6918 to send my request.

I hope I caught this in time and will not lose any money. If these people knock on your door do not let them intimidate you. They are fast talkers and you tend to give in to get rid of them. Say no and shut the door. Then call your neighbors and warn them.
