IMS Of California
You call, the pressure you into buying magazines, very hard to cancel

Miscellaneous

You receive a card in the mail telling you it is important that you call. You do and they offer you free gifts to buy magazines. You say no a few times and then they put their supervisor on the line who insures you it is a good deal. If you say yes you are screwed.

A friend of mine did this and paid dearly. If you want to cancel you need to do so within 24 hours or you are stuck. You call to cancel and ask how and they tell you to go to their website www.imscc.com and tell you to enter your pin that they provide. I did not do this. I called and told them i wanted to cancel and they said i needed to speak with someone in customer service. They transfer me and of course i do not get to speak to anyone. I get a message to leave a message.

Remember if you do not cancel within 24 hours you will be required to pay something. After calling back several times and getting the same message to leave a message, i asked to talk to their supervisor. They then told me to cancel all i had to do was go to the the same website www.imscc.com and add co i.E. Www.imscc. Comco i guess the co means cancel order. Then you enter the pin number they originally provided. This seemed to work.

I will find out from my credit card company on my next billing statement. According to my friend, the he wa receiving the magazines as promised and then out of the blue received a call to update his billing information. He then received charges from two or three more companies who on the phone all claimed to be the same company updating their information. However his bank statements showed several different companies making the charges.
