Charges $500.00 a month to share a room with someone else, another person has his own room and pays $500.00. Is this fair Ripoff

My brother, charged as a sexual batterer on a minor child, but didn't commit the crime, is locked up in the court system in Tampa, Florida. We can't afford a lawyer to get him freed of these charges. He has been under these charges for almost eleven years. He has to stay in a transitional house for sex offenders, until he is freed from the court system, or he dies. He is now 45 years of age, but due to a mental and physical slow development, he is like a teenager in mind and body. The court and police officers, his court appointed pro bono attorney, as well as his boss, who falsely accused him of messing with his children, to prevent himself from going to jail for the stabbing and raping of his own wife, took advantage of my brother's kindness and naiveness. The woman, Helen Pridgett, also takes advantage of my brother and the other men who reside in her transitional house. She recently went to court herself for violating county code laws, and had to many people (sex offenders) living in the same house. I guess everything went okay for her, because she dumped some of the sex offenders (my brother included) into a church, after other people complained about sex offenders living too close to their homes where they house children. The law enforcement agency told the sex offenders that they couldn't reside in the church and finally Helen Pridgett found the sex offenders another place to reside. My brother paid $250.00 a month for a bed space he shared with another person in the lady's first house and now he is paying $500.00 and also shares a room with someone still. Another sex offender pays also $500.00, but he has his own room. How fair is that. My brother doesn't make much money each day. When he took off a couple of days to take care of important matters (Florida Motor Vehicles, after someone took his wallet, and the doctors, for severe pain he has to his shoulder and knee), he lost a lot of money in work payment. Helen Pridgett now tells my brother that if he doesn't come up with his back money, he will go back to jail. She is an a-h, and knows he is doing his best not to go back to jail for becomming homeless. He has been in and out of jail for bogus reasons after he was released from jail for failing his probation back in 2004. Sometimes I think he is better being in jail than being out in the public. He is living on the North side of Tampa, Florida and has been beaten up already, his bicycle stolen, his wallet taken, his possessions taken and, you name it, it probably has happened to my brother as well. The accuser, Mr. Brunty, is the one that should be going through the headaches that my brother is and has been suffering with since this whole thing happened back in 1997. Is there anything that can be done about the rip off that Helen Pridgett is doing to my brother and the other tenants in her transitional house on the north side of Tampa, Florida?
