Maybe Even Another Perfume Cologne Company Lets just say it was just too good to be true

Its so funny how everything happened... I called this ad in the newspaper that said administrative position management no experience necessary... So i spoke with a nice girl over the phone. Set up an appt. And had an interview the next two days.

On my first day there were two girls in there. Jenny who was the receptionist the other Sarah being the manager. Im 20 years old and these two girls were younger than me. They told me they were younger than me. So that makes them 18 or 19, anyway the girl asks me a couple of questions and she had me fill out this questionaire sheet. It asked when was i born which is illegal to ask... Anyway a couple of questions were asked. She asked do i have any questions for her, I asked.."how old are you, you look very young and how long have you been with this company because ive never heard of this before.

Her reply is im actually younger than you and ive been working for this company for a very long time and yeah this company has been around for over 30 years. When she said she has been working here for a very long time i was thinking to myself, like 1-2 years is a long time. Oh, and she also had to rub in that this office was hers. Anyway she said, "I usually dont do this but im going to have come to the 2nd interview tomorrow are you available." I was like yes, of course.

So the next day came and still i had no idea what we were doing, there were about 7 girls and 1 boy, all in our early 20's waiting for the big boss to come in. The music was loud very unprofessional and his assistant was talking with us about all the vacations they take. Anyway so the boss comes in name Jesse Lemay (maybe not even his real name) he introduces himself, and we have our notebook pen ready. So he has us write all this corny notes. Gets into the whole process of everything. Anyway to make this short... He hires me this girl and other guy. But he can only hire us because 2 people walked out and the rest had no reliable transportation.

So, i come in on Monday, we have our notebook ready and everything writing more info. 4 things why he hired us and then he throws in this competition if we wanted to participate to sell the perfume to our family and friends. So I go home I ask my friends and family to buy some. My boyfriend who was looking over the sheet of cologne and stuff to buy. He asked what is this company called again. I said oceanside promotion. He decides to do some more research on them. He couldnt find them anywhere. Not on the better business bureaus or anything.

So I look around to, nothing came up. So i looked over my notes and i remember he said who was the ceo of the company it was mark laracy. I typed that in the search engine. And pops up a couple of complaints/scams from florida. The girls who wrote there scam situations matched everything i had through... I was so pissed. I printed all the articles out and went into the office the next day like nothing happened... I wanted to tell the other people about it. But it was just one girl. I asked his dumb *&* assistant about the w-4 forms she had no idea what i was talking about, she had to keep saying oh ask jesse. She looked scared..

The first thing jesse asks me is to come into his office. He asks how was my day and how much did i sell. I said i had some but they all changed there minds. He was like, oh thats okay, but he looked upset. Anyway i walked back into the room and ask the girl to come and follow me to my car, i want to show you something, the assistant follows to, and i didnt ask her to come and see. We went out to my car the assistant her name is jenny by the was who 19 was asking what is it can i see. I said no you cant see it only she can... So i told the girl what was going on. I gave her my papers and everything and she was shocked. She gave jesse her money..

So we went back in there basically told him off got our money back and our stupid personal information back... We went next door and asked a company about oceanside promotion and told them what had just happened to us. The manager comes out and he says, yeah i just got into a arguement with jesse like couple weeks ago, he called security also did backround check on them and he told they had no business licence... Well. I am so glad that i did my research... This just shows there are scandelous people out there, how cold hearted. I just hope that this information gets to whoever is thinking about working here, doesnt and reads this and other articles...
