I agree with the prior reports about Image Imports / DS Max / whatever name they try to use to have people miss that they're a huge scam.
When I applied to Image Imports for an Entry Level Marketing Manager's position, I thought it sounded too good to be true. So I poked around online for anything about them... The only thing I found was about "DS MAX" which I believe is where all of their "products" come from. The online advertisement warned of the DS MAX hoax that had been pulled on many young graduates, but it said nothing of image imports.
I was waiting with a 3 others in the waiting area, and was talking to one of the other guys there about his experience, and if he knew anything about the job/company. He had no experience, and no college education, which raised a few questions in my head, but none the less I stayed...
So I went into the interview, and sure enough a few minutes of how great I am and how my interests/experience were a great fit. At no point did they tell me what I would be doing, pay rate, etc... Just that the opportunities for wealth and advancement were endless. They had all kinds of Professional sports teams "marketing campaign materials" all over the office. I had been on many interviews, and this one did not seem right, especially seeing the interview lasted for no more than 3-5 mins.
When I was walking out of the interview room, another room's door was open, and right inside were a number of boxes with "DS MAX" listed on them... Sure enough I had been tricked. I guy in the waiting area know it was all a scheme as I had read.
I wasted time, gas, & money going to this interview, and was really quite ticked off when I found out it was all a big B. S scam!
