Ripoff

So I had this guy call me with Distinct Advantage but did not tell me this to begin with. He started off telling me that he was with my bank and I have these GREAT REWARDS for using my debit card. I thought "OK" sure because I just got back from a honeymoon and I did swipe my card a lot for the wedding and honeymoon. I asked him 5... YES 5 times if he was a telemarketer through out the conversation. He already had my routing number and my account number to my account, including where I had opened my account. All I had to do is re-verify it all for him.

The conversation lasted about 20 minutes. After I hung up the phone, I had this gut feeling that I was in trouble. I called back the number, spoke with a manager, explained that I DID NOT want any of these REWARDS that they were sending me. I asked him also if he was a telemarketer, he said no... We are marketing specialist. I immediately called my bank and froze all my accounts and the next day had to open all new accounts. Be careful when dealing with this company...
