BWP Publications - Blue Whale Publications - Community Reading Club ripoff Deceptive and Misleading Magazine Subscription Sales

This story is similar to others who have been mislead by Blue Whale Publications.

I received a call from a telemarketer one evening who stated that for $49.90 I could receive 60 months of magazines. The representative never made any reference, in any way, to the amount being paid for over a 20 month period. No paper agreement was ever sent to me by Blue Whale Publications explaining the requirements. They requested payment only in debit card form. When more payments were taken, than the promised one payment of $49.90. My bank told me to change my debit card number. At that time they started calling, I told them to keep the rest of the magazines. I didn't want any more and to stop charging me. They started sending bills, making threatening calls, cursing, telling me I could not get out of the contract.

Here we are today, they are treating to report me to the Credit Beauru. I have just fixed my credit and do not want any derogotory entries on my credit.

I would appreciate any suggestions of how I can get the $250.00 back that they have charged me and stop them from putting a mark on my credit. Please any help anyone can give would be appreciated.
