Ripoff, fraud, manipulate, lie, harass Fort Lauderdale

This company called mr up and told me they were the company that handled my magazine subscriptions. I asked them if they were part of Commercial Reader's Services (CRS) and they said yes, but they are not.

I recieved 25 calls from this company in one afternoon. Many of the callers claimed to be with the company they are not affiliated with, they also had my personal information already just as if they were my reader's services. They even had the list of magazines that I am recieving from CRS. Then the next day I got numerous calls again. This went on for several days with calls reaching over 100 in less than a week. Everyone of them lied about who they really were and no one ever told me they were trying to open a new accout.

I was unaware of the truth until I recieved a bill in the mail from this Blue Whale Publications. I called CRS and asked them a lot of questions about this company. They said that at no time were they ever affiliated with them. They also told me to contact the Better Business Bureau. I wrote them a letter over a month ago, I have not gotten a response. I have written 2 letters to Blue Whale with no response from them. The only thing I am getting from them is bills and phone calls telling me I need to pay my bill. I have sent back the magazines they sent to me, and I have told them that is what I am doing. I also told them I would not pay someone to lie to me.

I refuse to pay the bill and have told them to cancel the subscription, and if they wanted to charge someone the cancelation fee they should take it out of the pay checks of their telemarketers, they are the ones who lied to me.

It is now to the point I will not answer my phone if the number is out of area. They call me everyday, 3-4 times a day. Thank You for your time.
