Ripoff

I walked away from my computer. When I came back the screen was black, I touched the mouse to get back to my main screen and suddenly the monitor shut off, back on again, then back off. It started suddenly crackling and smoke was blazing out of the top of the monitor. I quickly turned my computer off.

My CPU was not harmed from this incident. I bring my 2 year old son to work with me everyday. If I hadn't been there when this happened, it may have caused a serious fire or may have even hurt my son. I find this to be inexcusable. Others may have the same monitor and may not be as lucky.
