Ripoff, messed up my life, took all the money i had

I was told 2 months ago that i was approved for a personal loan of 5,000.00. I did everything i was told and saved all my papers. I was told to send 800.00 to a man in canada via western union for an insurance premium and spoke to a woman named margaret james at extension 4. She said my check would be fed exed to me in 2 days.

I never recieved a check and it took me two days to reach her. She then said she looked into it and i would have to send 800.00 more b/c they changed the premium. I told her i didnt have any more to just send me my money back and she said it would take 30 days.

The following week my friend at work got a call from them b/c she had applied and was gonna do it too after i recieved mine and she told them she wasnt gonna do it now that i got screwed. He wanted permission to look up my information and he appologized and said it was their mistake and they would compensate me by not only covering the other 800.00 but they were also gonna give me 2,000 extra as a grant i wouldnt have to pay back for my financial troubles.

I then got all the paper work faxed to me again and faxed it back but kept all copies. I was thinking at this point it couldnt be a hoax b/c i had all the paper work and who would send all that if it was a hoax and why would they drag it on.

Well its been over a month and i still havent gotten any money or my money back and i cant get ahold of anyone there either. I have never had this happen to me before so now im about to get thrown out of my house b/c i owe alot to my landlord and i dont know what to do. I dont know where to go from here.
