Ripoff, dishonest, unauthorized fraudulent transactions

We a got a notice in the mail about a year ago about how we have a credit limit of $7500, and once we sign the forms and submit to them they will activate the account. Thinking this is great for credit rating, I signed and sent it to them. All this to find out that they were actually a mail order catalog company.

They originally took $500 from my bank account, not all at once, but in a series of 4 withdrawals. When we contacted them about this, they told us that it was for our annual fee, and something about a credit protection benefit. At that time a year ago, I requested to cancel the account. I was fed up with the CSR I spoke with and told him they could keep the $500, in return for a cancellation.

Well that didn't happen because today, they've again taken $300 from my bank account, (in a series of 3 $99 transactions). When I talked with them today, they said they advised me a year ago to send them a letter to cancel.

Ok, after a year of no contact with me, by the way... No catalogs whatsoever, no transaction on my so-called account, they charged me $99 for an annual fee, and $99.99 twice for credit protection. I am absolutely disgusted with this company. When I asked that they disclose their full name CCS, CSR Steve #57116, told me it was 'Capital Credit Services'. Now I know he lied after doing some searching online.

If there's anyway to stop this from happening to anyone else, do count me in. I'll stand up in court to testify for all the people who have become victims to this dishonest, fraudulent company.
