Deadbeat dad

Daniel Phalen & I were divorced in 2000. He was ordered to pay $425.00 per month, payable in bi-weekly installments beginning December 10th. I have received a total of six (6) payments from him for our son, the latest of which was his February 25th payment, made March 6th of 2001. He is now $26,562.50 in arrears (no interest or penalties included) and is currently raising his third (!) wife's children.

By the way, he was only allowed supervised visits with his first three children from his first marriage. And that was after I (young and stupid) believed him when he said she was trying to "steal his kids" and filed the papers for him to get that visitation. I only wish I could apologize to that woman now.

During our marriage, he was extremely emotionally abusive, and finally physically. I filed for divorce on February 19th when he threw me through an aquarium, strangled me, shocked me with the tank heater, and pushed me through my oak entertainment center, while our son was sleeping in his apartment downstairs.

I have repeatedly made attempts to locate Mr. Phalen so that I can file the court papers needed to charge him with contempt and collect on the arrears for my son, now 6 and on disability.

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this deadbeat father, please post a reply here.
