Jk Harris Company ripoff, misrepresent tax help

I called jk harris to lower my tax bill. They assured me they could do it but first, before anything, they wanted to take a monthly amount of $227.00 for one (1) year as well as an up front fee of $300.00.

They dragged this issue out for 1 years. When my bill with them was satisfied I never heard from them again unless I called them first.

Circumstances dictated that I pay my tax in full or lose $935 per pay check until the tax lien was satisfied.

Before I dealt with this firm I had a garnishment of $225.00 per pay period.

They kept asking me to send three (3) months of every bill I had plus my bank statements. Having done so, they got the garnishment temporarily stopped. They then offered the IRS a $100.00 per month payment.

I had until October to pay in full or the limitation would have run out. Did they really think that since the IRS was already getting more per month than they were offering that it would be accepted?

When I questioned that they said they could not help me because I had too much 'disposable' income. I asked them why it took over a year to figure that out but never got a straight answer. Of course the answer was that they had not yet gotten all the money they wanted from me.

I called them because I was slowly losing financial ground. Their commercials are very convincing that they can help you. Truth is they only help themselves.

I had to take a loan out to pay the IRS. The lien is now satisfied. I call jk harris and NEVER get a call back from them anymore. They got $3000 from me that could have gone to the tax lien.

How can this company blatantly lie about their ability to help anyone in this area?

The IRS said the only agency that can make a deal with taxes is the IRS itself. No outside agency has any ability to affect a tax bill of any kind.

Since then I have been laid off from my job and the only income I have now is unemployment. I mentioned that my job was terminating since I am a contractor but they ignored my plea of expediency.

We need a class action suit against this company. They are hurting people have made IRS mistakes and are trying to rectify them. Jk harris preys on these people who are in varying degrees of desperation to resolve their taz issues.

We need to shut this company down!
