Ripoff and scam

This company sent me an unsolicited letter during a time when I was looking for a credit card to sign up with. I did not remember at all sending any information to this company. I had only requested information from two companies and this company was not one of them.
I recieved a card and an activation number. I did not get to speak to a live operator until later in the phone call. I did, like a fool, activate it, not knowing at all this was a scam and now I am paying for it.
This company charged me $199.99 for an activation fee and then on April 3 charged me $99.99 twice and $99.00 in one day!

I called them to see what the reason was and they made up some "BS" reasons for charges. There was no way they would work or explain to me.

I do not know what to do. They overdrafted my account and I am not able to pay my rent this month. This also made me bounce three checks as well.
