Didn't pay for babysitting services. Ripoff

September 19-21 I watched Jason's son Ryan. The total for my services was $160. He told me he would stop by the morning of the 22nd and pay me before he took Ryan back to NY. (He's done this before so I had no reason not to trust him)

The afternoon of the 22nd I called him and he said he forgot and he's pay me Monday when he got back. Well, Monday he didn't show again. After leaving a few messages with no response, I blocked my number and called again. He answered this time and said his car broke down and he was stuck in NY. He told me he should be back by Thursday and would pay me then.

Of course he didn't show again, so I called his ex-wife in NY (who he was dropping his son off with) and she said he left the prior Sunday. I called again and he gave me a quick "I'll call you back" and hung up. Guess what? He didn't.

I tried to call him again after that and he had my number blocked so I couldn't get through. I wrote him a letter requesting my money, even willing to accept payments if he couldn't afford the whole amount, and I never heard back.
