Telemarketing Grant ripoff mideast accent, thankful for this website! NY New York

My Aunt got a call from John Paul, who spoke with a mideast accent, at National Government Grant Services, saying she was preselected by their Research and Development department to receive a government grant, from anywhere of $8k to $25k. She got me. I asked John Paul enough questions until he said his time was up and I would talk to a supervisor. He had stated that they were a grant promoting organization, and in response to my asking how her name got listed, replied with the info above about being preselected.

I then talked with a James Conner, who corrected John Paul's statement of it being a grant promoting organization to a Grant organization and that my aunt had been randomly selected for a government grant, that it would cost A $299.95 processing fee that needed to be wired directly from her bank account, which was why they needed the account number. James stated that she was garaunteed a grant but not how much. He also stated that the grant process, after they got the processing fee, can take up to 30 to 35 days, and that they would provide all this in writing. I said we would like to verify this info and he gave me their website listed above and their "customer service number" and that it was available 9-5 EST. They were calling 7pm, Hawaii Standard Time.

I requested time to look into the legitimacy of their company and James said they would call back tomorrow around 6pm, HST.

After finding all the reports listed on this website (THANK YOU), I was able to convince my aunt not to give them the info they wanted.
