Promised a credit card of $5000 limit but instead just took my $299

My fiancee got a call about a $5000 limit credit card that would help restore/rebuild his credit. They were really good about selling us that product and we fell for it. I let him us my account since he didn't have on at the time and I wanted to help him. Well they were quick to take out the $299 but then were slow on getting his "credit card".

He made several calls to the company and finally got a hold of someone who said he'll be receiving a package of coupons and the application. He got mad because the previous caller said we were getting the card not waiting for them to send us an application but we said ok since we have been waiting for so long. He gets the package only to have nothing but junk and the application was for a pre-paid mastercard not a real credit card.

So he called and wanted the money back and they are giving him the run around. They refuse to give us the money back because I closed that bank account and he refuses to give them our new account # because they might do the same thing again.instead we said send us a check and they're acting like they don't know what a check is. So if anyone knows how I can get this money back please let me know. I don't know anyone who wouldn't like that extra $299 right about now. Thanx
