READ THE FINE PRINT FOR Union Workers Credit Services

I just thought I would add something that I think that anyone getting burned by this firm may or may not have read.

In the fine print at the bottom it states - and I quote (ALL CAPS emphasis is mine) - "... VISA and MASTERCARD are registered trademarks of Visa International and Mastercard, Inc. Respectively, and are UNAFFILIATED with this offer or UWCS. Credit amount referenced herein shall not be construed to function as any type of multi-purpose credit card and is exclusively applicable for credit purchases from uwcs. Additional credit may be granted in the future at credit providers sole discretion. Failure to respond by expiration date will result in termination of your eligibility."

Note folks, that this is NOT a revolving credit line.

From thier website "Is this revolving credit? No, Union Workers Credit Services offers a specified amount of credit good for closed-end credit purchases."

This is essentially a department store credit line where the department store is THEM.By signing up for this you are essentially purchasing a membership in a 'buying club' much like Sam's Club or any subscription-based merchandise retailer.

As always, with anything, the fine print will usually tell you what you need to know. If it is too good to be true, it probably is.
