Well I sure wish I would have not been stupid and feel for their little or should I say BIG scheme!!! I got a telegram type piece of mail saying I waon millions and to call this number, when I got the secong one it got the better of me and I called and was bombarded with heavy sales for the magazines and so like a dummy I signed up! BUt I would not and did not give out my credit card or checking account # They billed me and I made Monthly Pymts - I have the telegram that started all this and I saved all my invoices or stmts from them and they called 2 different time once to see if I was getting all my magazine which I wasn't hmmm there should have been a clue and the second call was a little while after I paid them all off and they wanted me to sign up for 3 more years and I said no Im fine I still had/have what 2 years or less to go - and needless to say I haven't gotten my magazines like I. Am supposed to be and the magazines I picked some of them are tyring to bill me! And I did call NME and told a customer service about it and she said to send the bill to her and she would take care of it uh huh! I. Am getting all these bills or at least subscription renewals from the ppl Im getting the mags from - it's very maddening - Oh and I could kick myself for not checking with the Better Business Bureau First - They say the BBB that this NME started in 1985 and a flyer type paper I got from NME it said that they had been around since 1984 and here's the kicker they NME have 243 yes 243 resolved complaints on record with the BBB and 2 are unresolved 152 dealing in Sales Pratice Issues 58 in Billing or Collection Issues - to bad their not like inspected like resturants and get to many major violations and you get shut down!!! 27 complaints were in Advertising Issues well I know now I wish I could get my money back for the remainder of my 2 or less years and cancell all subscriptions - I hope I don't get any nast surprizes with any of the magazines ppl coming after me for pymt or turning me over to collections for what NME was supposed to have done or taken care of-one last little tid bit I know scams are everywhere but my sister called one of those 24 hour 1-800 # about working from home and making $ well it was to out of clearwater Fl maybe ran by the same people at NME and she couldn't find anything on them but somehow came across a site that said they were scam artist -oh you had to send them some kind of fee $35.00 or 45 something like that!!! I won't ever give my info out esp if they call me and I won't say yes everbc they get your voice recorded saying yes and use it against you well always check with the BBB first might save a lot of problems and never give out any info and never say yes!!! Lucky may b may b not
