Ripoff

I received a letter from Asset about a debt to Bally's from 1987. I have never been to Bally's in my life. Besides 19 years is illegal to collect on a debt.

I called and spoke with Jade Smith who told me i needed to pay. I said what they were doing was illegal and she said no it was not. She told me I was going to pay. The next day I called because I wanted to now "play" with them. When I gave them the account number they said, You are on "do not call". I said I don't know why.

I then said I am recording the conversation and she said "we do not like to be recorded here". I said "thats because what you are doing is illegal". She hung up. I have tried numerous times to talk to them and they just hang up the phone when I tell them I am recording them. It's funny as hell.

Everybody tell them you are recording them. You'll never hear from them again. I also called the Credit bureau who by the way was no help whatsoever. I will call them once a month to find out if it's been reported to my credit report.
