Ripoff fired me for something that had nothing to do with the prior sitution Valley Stream New York

My problem with this company is when I first started working there they tried to fired me because I was sick even though I had a doctor note. They claim I didn't call out every day. I had to call hr just to get my job back. I was without work for two weeks.

Now recently my great grandmother got sick they didn't even want to give me the time of I had to threaten to quit for them to allow me to take the week off just to see her. When I came baack one of the managers told me I can't come back to work with out a note stating that my grandmother was in the hospital.

So I had to get a note and someone fax from guyana to newyork for me to come back to work. Then they had me yet again out of work for about 2 weeks to tell me they fired not for the note but because of my attendence. My point was if my attendence was so bad why did't they fire me when i took a leave of absense why did they hve me go through all that trouble to get the note if they didn't want me there.

At that job they treat all associates like dirt. The braek room always dirty they talk to you in any manor and you get low pay
