Benefits ripoff They could not provide me with anyone that could speak clear english, said I selected to receive a Government grant

A gentleman called me at home this afternoon telling me that I have been selected to receive a Government grant in the amount of $12,500. I asked to speak to someone that could speak clear english as there was a definit speach barrier. They could not provide me with anyone that could speak clear english at this time they were very persistant about retaining my bank account information as in my routing number and bank account number. I thought something was seriously wrong when the only knew my nick name and could not provide me with my legal name. If the government was to issue a large grant only to me, they would have known my legal name. I explained that I was not comfortable giving my personal account information, the fact they were not a government agency, and they could not provide my correct information to me. After 45 minutes of them trying to obtain my bank account information they told me there would be a one time fee of $49.95 removed from my checking account, but they would compensate me by sending $500.00 in grocery coupons. I stated to them that they are not authorized to remove funds from my account and that I would be reporting this call to the appropriate authorities. I fee this company is a HUGE SCAM, and I feel sorry for anyone who buys into them.
