Pen Impressions, Carolina Pencil Company
Did not deliver order and did not credit account

On November 8, I ordered Pens and Pencils for a Cheerleading Event. I requested delivery on November 28 for the event was to be held December 4. On November 27, I e-mailed their customer service as to status because I had not received confirmation the items were shipped. On November 28 I called and spoke to Linda. She indicated there was a problem with the order, they did not have in stock the purple pens I needed. I spent at least an hour on the phone with her selecting a different style of pen. I then requested she confirm she could still fill the order. If she could not to PLEASE let me know and I would go elsewhere. She confirmed the order could be filled and I would receive on Friday, December 2.

On November 29,7:30 am Pacific time, she left me a message. I returned her call by 8 A.M. Pacific and Linda advised they did not have the purple pencils. Extremely upset, I reiterated, "You promised the order would be sent and I would receive on Friday." Her response, the person that supplied the pencils had left for the day yesterday whenever we had chatted and she couldn't confirm. Then why didn't she just say this? I spent 3 hours on the 29th calling other companies to obtain pens and pencils for the event. I ended up with 200 additional pencils and 100 additional pens, and paid $140.00 for expediting, shipping, etc. My account still has not been credited and I still have not received a response to three e-mails, one telephone message and one letter sent to their place of business. I was so angry at her on the 29th; I couldn't speak to her for I had quite a list of profanities to spew.

Had she just been honest with me whenever I asked her to confirm they could not commit, I would have been able to order from another company without the additional fees, and it's amazing what a difference a day makes!
Needless to say, I will be pursuing with the better business bureau and any other legal means available.
I just tried to call and leave a message for a return call, and their mailbox is full.
