Employment agency took my info, fired the guy that promised a job, now I'm getting the runaround Ripoff

In April I was contacted by Cynthia Lyons at Forrest Edwards, an employment agency. I come in, meet with her early before work, I get promises of jobs. "Well, if they come in." "We'll see what we have." After a few weeks of trying to reach her, I keep getting her voicemail. I ripped up the business card. I am not an idiot. Fast-forward to October. My resume is up on Monster. A Greg Giovino contacts me. I am told I have to meet with him. The company is now called Forrest Solutions. Sounds familiar, but I can't place it. I meet with him. Same place, and Cynthia Lyons sits right across from him. My info has not been stored. To them I am a new customer. He promises to call, which he does. On November 16, I get an email. He has a job that fits my credentials. He forwards my resume to a colleague. Greg does not tell me who this is. I email on Monday, November 21, nothing. No answer. No voicemail. I get an email from Linda/Lisa? Garfunkel telling me Wendy Singer is now my account exec. I call her, frustrated and angry asking in a loud voice, "IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CLIENTS? WITH THE RUNAROUND?" I am calmly told, "If you're that frustrated, maybe we can't help you." OH, THAT'S CHOICE!

Then I am told I have to go back there again and start the process over again. I have to take yet another afternoon off since my office is so far away to fill out paper work at the same place for the third time. I tell her to forget it. I call back, ask the receptionist for the name of the parent company and the presidents. I quickly send them an email about how poorly I've been treated. There was NO job, it was just a runaround and lies to pad their databases. The receptionist said to me when I asked about Greg, "It's sales. They could go at any time." That obviously means Greg was fired. And before thanksgiving, too. NICE! How is he supposed to find me a job when he's out looking for one now, too? What the hell ever happened to decency? I am outraged. I found this site, logged in, and here I am. I will never do any work with them again. Beware, nyc job seekers! They are out to take your info and waste your time!!!
