Simple Choice Benefits
Ripoff dishonest credit card applications

Miscellaneous

During the month of July, I received a phone call from a representative of Simple Choice Benefits, her name was Vinni, claiming to be able to provide me with a credit card that would help to re-establish my credit.

She went through a series of questions to establish some history and she told me that for $249, Simple Choice Benefits would be able to provide me with a Master Card with a $2,000 credit limit.

She said that within 40 business days of the one time fee of $249 clearing that I would receive a Master Card and the activity would be reported to the 3 major credit reporting agencies every 30 days. She gave me a reference number of 3432513.

On 4 August the $249 was deducted from my checking account and I called to confirmed the payment. A different woman told me that everything was in order and within 40 business days I would receive my Master Card and at that time I could begin using it, making regular payments and they would report the activity to the 3 major credit reporting agencies.

On 15 September I begin to call to check the status and I would be put on hold for several minutes. On Thursday, 29 September I called and was put on hold for almost 15 minutes. I called again on 30 September and I received a message, "PR011, The number you are trying to call is not available from your calling area".
