Presentation Do Not Attend Westgate Resorts Presentation ripoff, deceptive

We were lured to attend this supposed 90-minute pitch, which turned out to last more than 6 hours. The salesman used high-pressured and deceptive tactics and we finally walked out with the purchase.

I regretted the deal right after closing, the call customer service a couple of days later to ask if I could back off, all I was told was lies. Luckily I was able to find out on the internet and recind within the cool-off period.

My complains are:

1. We were never told there was a recission period, even I called to ask, they still tried to cheat.
2. The contract did state the recission period but it was hidden in a very secret pocket in the binder, I believe they did it on purpose and hope new owners never find out until the recission period has past.
3. I was charged for $100 for breakfast and binder after I cancelled the contract, it did write so in black and white in the contract, but I hope other consumers be aware.

In the contract, it says

Cancellation of contract.in the event the Purchaser cancels the contract during a ten (10) day cancellation period. The Developer will refund to the Purchaser the total amount of all payments made by the Purchaser under the Contract, reduced by the proportion of any Contract Benefits the Purchaser has actually received under the Contract prior to the effective date of the cancellation. Contract benefits shall include, but not be limited to, the videotape and exchange directory delivered to purchaser at point of sale. If these items are not returned upon cancellation, $50.00 shall be dedected from the refund. Occupancy prior to rescission for which no separate payment is made is a contract benefit with an agreed upon value of $200.00 per night. Any meals provided to purchaser after execution of a contract shall be a contract benefit with an agreed upon value of $15.00 for adult and $8.00 for children (11 years of age and younger) per meal, and any attraction tickets provided to purchaser after execution of a contract shall be a contract benefit with an agreed unopn value of the retail value of the ticket. The refund shall be made within twenty (20) days of demand therefor by Purchaser, or within five (5) days after receipt of funds from the Purchaser's cleared check, whichever is later.

So if you are lured by "free tickets" to go to the presentation and then cancel the contract, you will be charged for these "free tickets", be aware!!!
