Mathew recieved from us 3400 dollars for rent and deposit on house. We did not move in and never took possesion of house he was notified of our intentions. He then took a bad attitude and told us that he had to rerun ad which had expired anyway and that he was going to keep 1400 dollars to cover his expenses. When we wanted our money back he said that he did not have it. We waited for a month until he gave us a check for 2000 dollars and when we tried to cash the check the teller told us that we could not cash because it did not have authorized signature. The signature did not even come close to the real one. So we have a worthless check and he will not even return our calls. I didn't mind letting him have 400 which was the deposit but 1400 dollars when we never signed lease or moved in is just greedy.
