Lied about Grant due to Disability. Claimed they were US GOVERMENT, rip off

Received a phone Call claiming due to my husbands Disability, We were eligable to receive a grant (Minimum of 5,000) Said he was working for the United States goverment. Told me his name was Michael Smith employee #101035.

He also had a very heavy Indian accent.

I listened all about how we are guaranteed to get a grant, We just have to fill out some papers and mail them in. And the grant would be deposited in our checking acct. I would not give the account number. So He put his Supervisor on the telephone Darren Jones, SAME story Same accent. Believe me I asked questions.

They Even gave me my I D number and a phone number to call. HE said it would cost just 19.95, For shipping and filing fees. I would also receive offers on health benefits. (still believing they were the US GOVERMENT) And nothing would come out of my account until we receive the grant. But the grant could not be processed to our account without the number. Made sense to me. (AT THE TIME) We also would receive a voucher for 100.00 that could be deposited into our account, as soon as we receive it. 3-5 Day's I was told. What i received is nothing but 3banking account withdrawles 1, @19.95 1, @29.95 and 1@, 299.95. I never thought I could be SCAMED. These people should be in jail.
