Rip off Fraud Goverment Grant $ claims Goverment agency awards Grant $ for a $299.00 fee for a verification process

A man called me at work asking for my extention number. I always answer my phone with my name and title. He then said my name after I offered it up. He said the Goverment has selected me from a survey to recieve a grant to do what ever I like with the money. For school, starting a business, and or pay off debts. I asked him how much of a grant I qualified for. He said the minimum about would be $5000 and could exceed the about of $15,000. To find out how much money my grant would be I would have to be "verififed", meaning he needed my Bank account infomation. I asked why? He said because the goverment needs to verifiy that I am who I say I am. I didn't give him my last name or my address. I told him to fax me over some infomation about his company and I would get back to him. He gave me his name which he said it was "JACK" and his employee id number 0023 and claiming his company was from South Berlington Vermont. He avoided giving me a number. I told him to call me back, and he has repeatedly. Don't give this jerk a dime, he wants $299 for a filing fee. Its all a lie, he didn't have any verification infomation about me. He is calling random business and house lines and letting the consumer offer up infomation so he can rip people off!
