Ripoff Unsure CaI was contacted by tel with an offer to help rebuild my credit I was offered an unsured Master Card

I was contacted by tel with an offer to help rebuild my credit I was offered an "insured Master Card" with 4.9% intrest for 3 yrs. For a fee of $249.00 (activation fee and insurance) the person on the other end of the phone told me the conversation was being recored and after a few moments I would be transfered to a secure line to verfiy my info.

I gave my date of birth ss# mothers maiden name and bank acct.# so they could withdraw the $249.00 from our acct. And I would be reciving the card in aprox. 40 days.

Well that was the 29th of June and I have since called the co. I either get a busy signal or I am put on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally got to talk to someone on Aug 3rd

I was assured it would be sent but processing takes 40 days so my package would be comming shortly.
Well I had an uneasy feeling so contaced the consumer protection here at the DA office and we are fileing a complaint and We have contacted our bank. Also please be careful as I was typing this I recived a call from a company called "Solow Solutions" they are offering a credit card for no annual monthl fees for the 1st 6 mos. 0% intrest for $299.00 this card is that you continue to put monies into the acct to build your credit balance. (HAHA)
