Careerbuilder ripoff Check cashing scam Paris France Internet

I was contacted by this company through a posting on Careerbuilder.com. After many emails to this company, bottom line is that I received a check from an unknown source, cashed it at my bank, and used Western Union to send the funds to London, England.

When a Western Union representative called me that evening to verify that I knew the person I was forwarding funds to, I became hesitant to complete the transaction. Western Union asked me if I wanted to cancel the transaction and I said yes. I was able to pick up the funds the next day and deposit them back into my bank account.

Had I not done this, I would have owed my bank that money in the amount of $3,704.99, because the check was not good, of course. I emailed Valeo International Soft, and kept them apprised of every move I made. They continued to write me back - up until I told them the check came back to my bank and was not cashable. I have not heard from them since.

Do not do business with them! They are after YOUR money.
