Your Choice Inc ripoff attempt failed, BEWARE

I was interested in applying for a Government Grant to do some improvements to my home (my wife and I are somewhat handicapped) and I asked a Company named Grant News Network if these were available. I was sold a book that was supposed to tell me how to go about everything. After some research I decided not to pursue this matter and called back to cancel the book. It was already charged to my credit card in the amoount of $19.95. The first time I was told that this was an ongoing subscription service and I would have to wait until the book came before I could cancel! I then waited until the following week. When the book did not arrive I called back again. This time the person took my cancellation and processed a credit to my credit card.in addition there was a subscription service that costs $29.95 that I also cancelled. This was also cancelled and I did receive a credit for it also.

I just want to request that these people be refrained from soliciting on the internet or anywhere else. I have recieved a report from the BBB in Salt Lake City, UT that is very enlightening. Although these folks claim to be a member of the BBB they are not.in fact the BBB forwarded to me all of the complaints that have been filed in Florida, Ohio, and Utah against them. There are legitimate government grants to do alot of things. Unfortunately these people are taking advantage of that and defrauding the public in general. It is not enough to get a restraining order to get them to cease and desist. They just reform under a different name and continute. Right now they are using at least 6 different names that I know of! And I would want to wager that there are several more that we don't even know about yet.
