We ordered a Kilt after having a quote and measurements taken. We were told the price had gone up (she hadn't had time to update it) but a new price sheet had not been made and they'd honor the old prices as we were lifetime customers. We came in and ordered, the price accepted and half taken on deposit. Debra who first quoted wasn't there but the clerk said she'd have the order checked on Monday (two days later) and that the price sheet still had not been updated.

I called back three weeks later to add one more item to the order and found 1. She hadn't checked the order, 2. The order hadn't been placed and 3. She wouldn't honor the agreement, as she had made up a new price list in the meantime, even when though she admitted it was THEIR error.

Now we have no kilt for our wedding because she won't honor her agent's agreement; we offered to split the cost of the increase but she wouldn't do anything to fix her and the store's errors.

It's not our fault they don't keep price sheets up to date, check orders, put orders in on time but when they take a customers money, that is a written contract by the stores agent and they have no right to back out and ruin a wedding after we've been faithful customers for years. They'll lose a lot more than just what the profits from one kilt.
