Ripoff! Took my money and gave nothing in return, phone# no longer active, no one to contact

Was contacted early in the morning while I was still sleeping offering to help re-establish my credit by giving my a credit card with a $3,000.00 line of credit.

Was told that a fee of $299.95 would be held out of my account for a period of three days then replaced. This was to make sure that I held a positive account balance before they would issue the card. They left no number to be contacted at and I believe the guys name was Roger that called.

I decided not to go through with the deal so I pulled all of my money from my account. They tried to do the transfer but the bank would not allow because of the account balance. Three weeks later after I had deposited money in my account they produced a fake check that said no signature required and ran it through my account.

I waited for approx. 8 weeks, no credit card. I asked my bank for a copy of the check and the phone number on there is no longer active. I have no way of contacting these people and it appears no way to retrieve my $299.95. The money they took was my student loan for college.
