Platinum Values Limited, PV Limited Unauthorized checking account charges Ripoff

We noticed a charge on our bank statement from Platinum Values for $29.95. My spouse and I had no clue who this company was, what kind of business they did or what the charge was for. So I looked at our last 5 bank statements and found that this same company had taken $29.95 from our checking account 4 times, totaling $119.80.

I called the bank and filed a dispute form. It could take up to 60 days before our money is refunded. As a result of this theft, we've had overdraft fees from our bank. Once the bank researches the charges and have completed their investigation, we will ask for the overdraft charges to be refunded.

I called Platinum Values and they denied "stealing" money from our checking account. However when I asked them if they had anything in writing or a recorded telephone conversation in which my spouse or myself gave them authorization to withdraw funds from our account they said no. I told them when you take money out of someone's checking account without their permission, it's THEFT.

I still do not know how they got our account number, routing number, etc. I want to sue this company because this shouldn't happen to anyone. Companies should not be able to get away with theft!
