AKA Call One AKA Premier Movie Pass ripoff Fraudulent Billing

On 3/7/05 I received an unsolicited phone call from this company offering $200.00 shopping spree certificate (s) for a price of $3.95 towards shipping and handling. The telemarketer asked for the checking account number, bank routing number and a check number for automatically deducting the $3.95 from my bank account.

He assured that the checking account information is absolutely safe and there will be no unauthorized debits. I gave all requested bank information and authorized for ONE deduction of $3.95. After that a supervisor who is recording the message confirmed with me if I am authorizing the deduction, to which I said Yes. No where was there a mention of an extra debit for $3.95 and $119.90. These charges are unauthorized. This clearly is a fraud using deception tactics.

Sensing soemthing fishy I called them back. Somebody acknowledged that there are three programs and I am being charged for all. So I canceled all three programs. They gave me cancelation numbers too! Even though I canceled the programs they went ahead and debitted my account anyway.

I complained to the bank. The bank obliged and reversed the transaction for the extra $3.95 and $119.90. But on 3/28/05 I again see the charges on my bank account. I had to close the bank account (I had same account for past 17 years) from further damage.

When I call back the company they say that they had to recharge my account as first time they did not get any money!!!
