William Brow - Affordable Apartments ripoff

I gave William Brow $1210.00 cash for first mo. And security deposit on an apartment on Williams Street in Jackson Michigan. I am a mother of three children (3mo. Old twins & 18mo old) and asked Mr. Brow if there were any problems with bugs in this apartment and he told me no. When I went to clean the apartment, cockroach infestation was apparent.

I immediately called Mr. Brow several times he did not answer my calls. I called his phone using privacy blocker and by stroke of luck, he answered his phone. I told him about the cockroaches everywhere and reminded him that I asked him previously about bugs and he told me there was no problem with bugs again. (Even though I'm standing there looking at several dozen on walls, floors, and in cupboards.) He said the people upstairs didn't mind the cockroaches because there were "only a few". I asked him for my $1210 back because I had not moved in yet and he said "F! @#K YOU, YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK!".

After that the phone conversation ended. I attempted to reason with William Brow several times and got no where. I did not move in and will not so I have began to take legal action. I also found out after calling the J.A.R.P.O.A. (A renter landlord association he had on his business card he gave me) that he had not been a member of this group for over four years!

I want to let people know that this guy is a dishonest buisness man, not to mention he rips people off and refuses to return my money.
