Ripoff dishonest fraudulent claims products and business practices

Scentex is a fraud! Do not work for them or buy their perfumes!

My boyfriend and I were sifting through the newspaper adds for jobs when we came across one that declared - Want to be a millionaire!? We should of realized then that it would be a fraud but in desperation for money and a job we called the number listed on the add. Immediately an interview was set up for the following day and we were informed that many people got rich quick by Scentex. These people are experienced con-artists! They use words to trick and decieve people. Well at the interview, the room was filled with many young people stricken with poverty. People whom have little or no money at all! The whole thing was a scam! People were led to believe that Scentex's perfumes were of a higher quality than other perfumes. At this interview, Matt (I believe that was his name) made promises of huge salaries and huge benefits. Of which, we never recieved!

Matt offered my boyfriend ten dollars an hour plus commission for perfumes sold. He assured him that he would be given bonuses frequently and that he would be a millionaire like him soon. He even bragged about his house and two sports cars. Well my boyfriend worked for Scentex for a whole week and then when it came time to get his paycheck Matt conjured some excuse and said that my boyfriend hadn't understood him properly. My boyfriend was upset. We counted on that money for bills! Matt assured him he would make instant money if he took a company trip to Louisiana to sell perfumes to some clients that did businessess regularly with him. Luckilly, my boyfriend did not fall for this. We have heard countless stories from people who were stranded there without money, transportation, or a way of contacting their family members.

Their products are just as bad. The perfume that I ordered from Scentex was basically water and had NO fragrance at all! When I tried to get a refund the owner got angry and told me to leave. I had tried to contact him several times but he never would answer my messages or would always tell his secretary to cover for him. Finally, I mustered up the 50 dollars to take him to small claims court where I eventually did get my money back. Unfortunately my boyfriend never did get back the money owed to him. Scentex is owned by EVIL people whom prey on poor young individuals to con! Please do not give money to these individuals or work for them! Do not feed their evil appetite!
